AWUS1900  

The AWUS1900 offers connection speeds of up to 1300Mbps at 11ac or 600Mbps at 11n.  When used in conjunction with a high speed access point, link speeds comparable with wired connections can be achieved.  For streaming purposes, the higher link speed allows more concurrent users to achieve uninterrupted throughput (assuming the media server can deliver the content).  The link speed may be faster than your internet connection and for a single user, may not provide any higher throughput that an existing WiFi adaptor; but where local network file transfer is required; the AWUS1900 will impress!

Note: USB3 is required to achieve higher throughput rates.  USB2 has a data speed limit of 480Mbps and so will limit higher speed throughput.
