WD-330S

 The Diamond WD-330S is a shortened version of the WD-330J T3FT (Tilted Terminated Folded Dipole)  for HF.

At only 10m in length, the WD-330S is still capable of operating down to 2MHz, while being able to be accommodated in a compact area.

As a terminated antenna, the WD-330S offers operation between 2 and 28.6 MHz at reasonable SWR on frequencies in this range.  This makes it ideal for areas where multiple antennas are not practical, or for remote sites were a "no tune" capability is required.

The WD330S may be mounted in a horizontal, inverted V or sloper configuration.  If mounted as a sloper ( tilted ), the radiation pattern is roughly omnidirectional. 

Performance can not match a full size resonant antenna, and some transmit power is lost to the termination resistor ( the termination allows for the very wide operational bandwidth at acceptable SWR), but where frequency agility is required, the WD-330J is a choice.

The WD-300S comprises a wire folded dipole with fibreglass spreaders.  At the feedpoint, an impedance transforming balun with UHF female socket provides connection to the feedline ( coax cable not supplied with this antenna ), and the other ends of the antenna wires terminate on a sealed resistor container.  The antenna weighs approximated 1.7kg.
