G2N
The G2N is an 802.11N device incorporating a 14dB panel antenna. Also available in a variant ( G2NC ) without the internal antenna, when different coverage is required.
The internal 14dB gain panel antenna allows this device to achieve a 30dBm (max allowable) EIRP and also aids reception owing to the relatively high gain. As a single antenna device, maximum link speed is 150Mbps. The antenna provides a relatively narrow beam width of around 30° both horizontally and vertically.
The external data connection is a LAN port so the G2N can operate as an AP or Client with optional WDS. WDS might only operate between similar devices as it is not a published standard.
The G2N is powered via passive POE on the data cable connection. As the POE is 12v, we recommend a data cable maximum length of 30m between the G2N and POE injector.
Configuration is via a web interface - operating manual is available for download (below). The Operating is for the AIP-W515H router board used in the G2N
The G2N is provided with:
- POE injector and 12v Power adaptor (NZ plug)
- Plastic pole bracket (half pipe with hose clamps) - attaches to the G2N with 4 x M4 screws @ 65mm centres. An optional L mounting bracket with vertical angle adjustment is available.
